In my previous life, less than 1% of my customers ever saw my furniture and office, few ever met me in person, and none of them cared about what software programs I was running on my computers or what kind of car I was driving. But every single customer saw my company name and logo. I wanted to make sure that they could relate to it and that when they saw my logo it would instantly remind them of my company name. And visa versa. I wanted my company logo seared into their memory. It was important that the name and logo stand out from my competitors and relay a message of professionalism and expertise.
